Food was ehh, service was spot on and place was clean. I would return. Going at 5am wasn't crowded.
As far as I'm concerned, IHops all over have been going downhill for a while now. The food feels like it's getting worse, and the service is mediocre. However, my experience today showed me the exact opposite. For starters, as someone who has worked as in restaurants before, I respect a well-cleaned and set up table. When every table is spotless and displayed the exact same, it's tough not to notice like I did this afternoon. Likewise, I appreciate great service. I go out to eat to be taken care of, not just to order food, eat, and leave. That should be left to fast food places. That said, I can surely say that Jacob was probably the best server I've ever had at an IHop. Not only did he greet my brother, sister, and I with incredible positivity, but he made sure we had everything we needed at every beat. When he noticed we liked something (french vanilla creamer), he brought more of it the second time around. The food was also the best I've had in a while from IHop, Denny's, and other places alike. Im not sure how many changes have been made at this location recently, but it's a huge leap in the right direction. I'm always happy to see that people still care to do their best to make peoples' experiences as best as they possibly can. Also, if Jacob isn't the manager, he sure does exhibits everything a manager should.
I'm a regular here because of the service. My waitresses are amazing! Amanda, Kahlea, and Emily are all fantastic. They are very friendly and make sure I have everything I need. If I ever have a bad day they know just how to cheer me up. The food is always hot and prepared just the way I like it. The chef during dinner time is very quick and thorough with each and every dish. As long as they are here I'll keep coming back again and again.
